PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO MINORITY COMMUNITIES

(100% Centrally Sponsored Scheme)

7.1 DESCRIPTION:

This Department is implementing Pre-Matric Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Schemes for the Students belonging to Minority Communities such as Muslim, Sikh, Christians, Buddhist, Parsis & Jain also 30% of scholarships are earmarked for girl students in the State of Haryana as follow:

7.2 PRE–MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO MINORITY COMMUNITIES

Pre-Matric Scholarship is awarded to students from class I to X :

A) Eligibility Criteria :

The students should be studying in Government Schools/ Institutes or private schools / Institutes recognized by an appropriate authority.

Annual income of parents/ guardian should be less than 1Rs. lakh.

The continuation of award will be subject to securing 50% marks in the previous examination.

Student obtaining benefits under this scheme shall not be allowed to avail of benefits under any other scheme of this purpose.

B) RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP
